Carl Philip Edmund Bertil was born in 1979, 13 May. Prince Carl Philip was born as the Crown Prince but that changed in 1980 because of the laws.

Carl Philip is son of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia Bernadotte. He is the middle child and he has two sisters, Crown Princess Victoria and Princess Madeleine. Carl Philip’s interests are cars and motorsport. He competes in Carrera Cup Scandinavia for Flash Engineering. But he also likes to be out in the nature that is why he now studies crop production, engineering and forestry at the Swedish University of Agricultural in Alnarp. Before that he studied Graphic Design & Advertising. Prince Carl Philip is also a reserve officer and captain in the amphibious force after many promotions. Carl-Philip has a girlfriend called Sofia Hellqvist.
